Chapter 809: First Entering the City of Slaughter
"Poison in the blood?" Bibi Dong frowned slightly upon hearing this. She seemed not to have noticed that back then. Lu Yuan had never entered the City of Slaughter, yet he knew so much about it.
"You don't believe me?" Lu Yuan asked with a light smile as he watched Bibi Dong's slightly furrowed brow.
"No, I believe you. I believe everything you say," Bibi Dong said softly.
"Dong'er." Lu Yuan's heart stirred at her words. He could not help taking Bibi Dong's hand, his eyes filled with tenderness.
Bibi Dong smiled gently, and the two gazed sweetly into each other's eyes.
"Ah!" A shrill scream rang out again. Several people, overwhelmed by agony, even knocked over tables and rolled about on the floor. The commotion directly shattered the atmosphere between Lu Yuan and Bibi Dong.
"Damn it!" Awakened from that sweet moment, a trace of anger appeared on Lu Yuan's face. His rare tender gaze with Bibi Dong had actually been interrupted by these people.
"You've lived long enough. All of you, die."
As his words fell, his spiritual power swept outward. The people trapped in the illusion immediately raised their hands and clutched their own throats tightly, strangling themselves to death.
In mere moments, more than a dozen corpses had appeared in the tavern.
"Much quieter." Lu Yuan casually flicked his fingers, then looked at the terrified attendant beside him. "You too."
"I—" Before he could finish speaking, the attendant followed in the muscular man's footsteps. His head exploded, sending blood and flesh flying everywhere.
"Xiao Yuan, you're far too ruthless," Hu Liena said, watching Lu Yuan kill people at the slightest disagreement.
"Ruthless my ass. No one here, including that attendant, was any good. They all deserved to die.
