Background / History

Ning Rongrong is Ning Fengzhi's daughter and was raised as the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect's little princess. Her father, Sword Douluo, and Bone Douluo indulged her heavily, contributing to her spoiled, proud “Little Witch” temperament. Despite this, she is described as kind-hearted and innocent rather than malicious. Her sect upbringing also gives her polished manners and an ability to judge when she should behave properly. 194 244 260

She first becomes interested in Lu Yuan after seeing his strength at Heaven Dou Royal Academy. Ning Fengzhi recognizes her attraction and considers using a marriage alliance to bring Lu Yuan closer to the sect. 179 190

Ning Rongrong leaves the sect to enter Shrek Academy partly to spend time near Lu Yuan. There, Lu Yuan criticizes her lack of diligence and reminds her that she may one day bear responsibility for the entire sect.
