Bronya blinked and curiously sized up the robot Prometheus.
"Lin Nai, Dr. Mei sent a message asking you to go to the cafeteria for breakfast."
"Sure."
Not long after.
Lin Nai brought Kiana and Bronya to the cafeteria.
The first thing he saw was Kevin lying on the floor, utterly unable to get back up.
Kevin was sprawled on the ground, his right arm stretched out before him, his index finger having written two words on the floor.
Lin Nai focused his gaze.
There were only two words.
"Run."
Lin Nai: It's a trap!!
Lin Nai turned around, intending to make a run for it with Kiana and Bronya.
Then he discovered Mei standing at the doorway, though he had no idea when she had gotten there.
"Uh... Mei, I left something in my room. I was planning to go back and get it."
"Is it something important?"
"It's pretty important."
After all, if he did not leave now, he would probably end up just like Kevin.
He did not want that!!!
"Eat before you go back." Mei smiled. "People need food to live."
Lin Nai stiffly turned back and stared at the seemingly normal food on the table.
But judging from Kevin's condition.
