Lin Nai reunited with Cecilia and endured the scientists’ curiosity and Tesla’s teasing after his body became child-sized. He later escaped to the balcony, where he shared beer and memories with Siegfried.

Lin Nai remembered he had left Black Jilin trapped in the Meta Domain and went to retrieve her, only for her to attack him in revenge. He kept dodging and eating instant noodles, then blocked her sword with a plastic fork as she vowed never to give up.

• Siegfried thanked Lin Nai for helping Kiana and the others and making Cecilia’s revival possible.
