Like wind and lightning, Clown rode the blast wave and carried Chen Cheng and Anthony more than a thousand miles away.
He did not stop until he felt the wounds splitting open across his body.
Watching the water surge behind them, Chen Cheng took a deep breath.
He truly had not expected that explosion. Luckily, Clown had reacted fast enough to carry them both away. Otherwise, Chen Cheng feared he would have been the only one left alive.
Climbing off Clown's back, Chen Cheng saw blood seeping from his wounds. He patted him on the head and said:
"Make yourself a little smaller. It'll be easier for me to heal you."
Chen Cheng was not stingy. He had a healing ability, and Clown had been hurt for his sake. Of course he would not begrudge him a little Divine Power.
There was another crucial point: Chen Cheng had already lost his qualification, so every bit of Divine Power he spent now was gone for good.
Asking Clown to shrink before treating him was not stinginess. Chen Cheng had to save whatever he could.
Obeying Chen Cheng's command, Clown swiftly shrank from several hundred yards long to just over three yards.
Chen Cheng ran a hand over the wounds on Clown's body and activated the healing ability within his Divine Kingdom. A Magic Array rapidly took shape, and the wounds closed as though time itself were flowing backward.
Chen Cheng withdrew his hand, wiped the sweat from his forehead, and let out a long breath.
"That should take care of anything serious. You can recover from the little wounds yourself."
Chen Cheng had healed more than the wounds on Clown's body. He had also restored the innate bloodline magic inside him that the blast of chaotic Magic Energy had torn apart.
