At the center of this Divine City stood a magnificent temple. But when their Giant race ancestors arrived, they occupied the Divine City and made it their home.
Afterward, their ancestors tore down that magnificent temple. When they reached the core hall where the divine statue was worshipped, the statue suddenly seemed to come alive and instantly killed the giants demolishing the temple.
Then light shot from the statue's eyes, and three tiny divine envoys like Chen Cheng and the others stepped out from within the light.
The divine envoys delivered a divine decree: they were forbidden from destroying the temple, and if they wished to live here, they had to worship the statue within.
Listening to Fox translate this mythic legend, Chen Cheng and Lokasky exchanged glances. Fox then said:
"I translated all of this. Some of the wording may differ, but the general meaning should be right."
"Could Ancient Civilization people really still be living here? Did we truly find their nest?"
Lokasky said with his arms folded.
"Impossible. According to the ruins records I know of, Ancient Civilization left behind no surviving spark. Those so-called divine envoys were most likely some kind of special deceptive illusion."
Chen Cheng then said to Fox:
"Ask him whether the divine envoys punished any other giants after they appeared."
Fox translated Chen Cheng's question for the giant. The giant was utterly baffled after hearing it, thinking, Aren't Chen Cheng and the others divine envoys? Why would they ask something like that?
But he was truly terrified, so he spilled everything he knew.
"No. But those divine envoys displayed miracles. The knowledge they now use for farming and hunting was bestowed by the divine envoys upon the wise men of their clan."
