She Li suddenly cracked a very dry joke. Chen Cheng and Scorpion Lady both turned to look at him.
"Well, She Li, that joke was pretty cold. But a dry joke is still a joke. Keep at it."
Chen Cheng gave She Li an encouraging gesture.
She Li looked baffled. "Young Master, I was just stating a fact. She's a Legendary, yet she knows next to nothing about this place. With an attitude like that, no wonder she's been left isolated in the barren Quicksand Domain."
Scorpion Lady hadn't expected She Li to look down on her. Weren't they supposed to be cultivating with all their might here, trying every way they could to grow stronger?
If She Li had asked anything about improving his strength, Scorpion Lady could have answered him down to the last detail.
Scorpion Lady was about to argue with She Li when Chen Cheng gestured for silence.
Through his Divine Domain perception, he had discovered that the cave ahead was not the Green Snake King's lair as he had imagined, but an underground maze.
As the three ventured deeper, plant roots and stems giving off a faint azure glow began to appear in the dark cave.
By the time those roots and stems lit up the entire cavern, Chen Cheng and the others had reached the entrance to the underground maze.
"There's a maze ahead. Judging by the marks on the ground, the Green Snake King should be inside."
Chen Cheng spoke as he examined the trail left by a dragging snake tail in the light of the roots and
