After a long while, once Wu Ze was sure Chen Cheng's words had not affected him, he pursed his lips, looked at Chen Cheng, and asked his first question.
"Who are you?"
Though it was only three simple words, and not a particularly original question, Chen Cheng still could not hide the delight in his heart.
He gathered his thoughts for a moment, because he knew very well that Wu Ze asking this question actually represented many questions.
Then he answered Wu Ze:
"My name is Brown Hopps. I'm a magic warrior—or rather, an ability user with special powers. The strength I displayed just now was all attained through my own cultivation. I'm not some foreign God or Devil."
Chen Cheng tried his best to use terms the scientific side could understand to explain what his power was.
Because he knew perfectly well that the distrust between them came from the power he possessed, power so great that it frightened them.
Yet after hearing him, Wu Ze and the others did not look confused. There was only incredulous shock on their faces.
"How is that possible? No ability user should be a match for those Gods and Devils."
Now it was Chen Cheng's turn to be stunned. He looked at Wu Ze and the others, then said:
"You're saying you've seen other people with special powers like mine?"
Hearing his question, Wu Ze and the others looked at him strangely. Then Wu Ze revealed his arm and held it out before him.
Chen Cheng looked it over but could not make out any information. He then looked at Wu Ze in confusion.
"Wh-what does that mean? Your hand is pretty black and dirty."
Wu Ze rolled his eyes at Chen Cheng, then said:
"I'm an ability user. Didn't you see
