Death

At this moment, within the Void Sea, boundless Buddha light was like a sharp sword, piercing straight through the Boundless Divine Domain of Light unleashed by the God of Light and shining before him.

Then, Venerable Great Bodhisattva and the other Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and Vajra Arhats appeared before the God of Light from the far west as swiftly as an image rapidly pulled closer.

"Amitabha. My Buddha is merciful. Benefactor, is what you are doing not far too cruel?"

Venerable Bodhisattva looked at the God of Light and spoke.

Yet the God of Light merely gave a cold laugh.

"Cruel? If they achieved their goal, what kind of harm would my world suffer?

Didn't they all say that you, Bodhisattva, possessed a compassionate heart? Is your compassion only for these thieves who have robbed their way to my doorstep?"

He then pushed out a palm toward Venerable Bodhisattva and the others. In an instant, that palm seemed to cross tens of millions of years and trillions upon trillions of light-years.

At that moment, Xingyun Buddha sensed something and cried out in alarm.

"He isn't attacking us. He is sending us tens of millions of years into the future! Stop him, quickly!"

Hearing this, Killing Life Bodhisattva immediately glared at the God of Light with those eyes terrifying enough to frighten people to death. Then he raised the precept blade in his hand and hacked down at the God of Light's head.

Yet reality was just as Xingyun Buddha had said. They were no longer in the same spacetime as the God of Light. After crossing tens of millions of years and trillions upon trillions of light-years, that strike could not even kill an ant.
