Underground Fortress

After knocking and pressing at the gate for a while, the imagined password panel did not appear.

"You have an identity token, don't you? Take it out and give it a try."

Brother Octopus suddenly reminded him.

Chen Cheng glanced at Brother Octopus, then took out the identity token.

The writing that surfaced on the token flickered. At the same time, the ruins' gate flickered as well, and then a familiar panel popped up.

Once the elevator came to a steady stop, the interior of the fortress appeared before them.

At a glance, the fortress's interior had almost completely fallen into ruin. Yet from the defensive fortifications that had not yet been dismantled, one could tell just how tightly guarded this place had once been.

After entering the fortress, they found long cable-like wires strewn carelessly across the ground.

No one knew how many years those wires had been discarded there, yet they still gave off a glow.

The moment Snow Maiden saw those glowing wires, she pounced on them.
