The trunk on the Tapir Orc king's face, part elephant and part pig, lifted as he roared:
"I don't care what Witchcraft or divine ability he used. We kill him today and avenge our people."
Just then, a Tapir Orc expert who had followed behind pointed at the five thousand warriors cutting through the outer ranks.
"My king, it's not just him. There are all these insects too. How are they unaffected by our innate divine ability?"
The Tapir Orc king had seen the five thousand warriors carving through the Beastfolk. They showed no fear of the Dream-Entering Mist, and both their armor and weapons were made of refined steel.
He knew at once that these humans, who had somehow destroyed the entire Wolf King clan, were nowhere near as weak as he had imagined.
The Tapir Orc king let out a grief-stricken roar and gave an order:
"Order our people to withdraw on all fronts. The rest of you, follow me and hunt down the one who just escaped. He must be the reason this is happening."
The Tapir Orc king was no fool. Because of the Baku Clan's innate divine ability, they had developed their bodies far less than other members of the Orc race.
Now their divine ability had been countered, and the humans had come armed with fine weapons. They had clearly come prepared.
If he did not order a retreat, the Tapir orc race might well follow the Wolf orc race to its doom.
