Ch. 291Lorgar: Exploiting Guilliman's Weakness

The God Chosen defeated Calligos and captured Erebus on Solonis after Chaos magic turned the dead’s despair into strength for the players. On Sicarus, Lorgar received the Chaos Gods’ blessings and began plotting against Guilliman by sending daemons to retrieve his adoptive parents’ souls.

  • Little Alpaca and the others ordered an orbital bombardment of Solonis, but the destroyed buildings and structures restored themselves, so the players launched a ground assault.
  • Damo, Little Alpaca, and the players fought through Chaos defenders and reached the temple, where Erebus and Calligos awaited them.
  • Calligos’s ritual filled the players with the dead’s vengeful power, strengthening them instead of corrupting them, and the players killed Calligos and captured Erebus in the Dimensional Cube.
  • On Sicarus, Lorgar sensed Erebus’s defeat, received the Chaos Gods’ blessings, and resolved to rescue him and destroy the Imperium.
  • Lorgar ordered daemons to find Guilliman’s adoptive parents’ souls and said he would need to join forces with other brothers to face Guilliman, Lion El'Jonson, and the Outsider.

Ch. 292Erebus's Despair

Damo and the other players turned their captive Erebus into the star attraction of an Arena, where Warmaster and countless other challengers repeatedly defeated and humiliated him. Meanwhile, Lorgar, Fulgrim, and Magnus united against Guilliman, and Lorgar proposed using Guilliman’s mortal parents’ souls to lure him into a trap.

  • Players in the World Chat doubted that Damo and his companions had captured Erebus until they saw proof, then Old Thirteen proposed making him the Arena’s final boss.

  • Fulgrim and Lorgar arrived on Sorcerer’s World to join Magnus against Guilliman and the Outsiders.
  • Lorgar revealed that he had sent daemons to find Guilliman’s mortal parents’ souls so they could use them to lure Guilliman into a trap.

Ch. 293Abaddon: Who Will Speak for Me

Abaddon’s Black Legion was seized by Magnus, Fulgrim, and Lorgar, who planned to trap Guilliman and Lion El’Jonson at the Nachmund Gauntlet. In Commorragh, Qin Yun prepared to coordinate the Imperial response, reclaim Sanguinius’s soul fragments, and expand Webway travel, while a new batch of players arrived on Automata.

  • Abaddon surveyed the galaxy and vowed to defeat the returned Primarchs, but a psychic storm disrupted his ritual on the Vengeful Spirit.

Ch. 295Euten

Qin Yun assigned the Imperium and Aeldari forces their roles in defending the Webway and the Vigilant Star front, while the Lion rejected any claim to rule over the Imperium. Chaos captured Euten’s soul and used it to lure Guilliman into danger, prompting Qin Yun to assemble forces and head for Vigilant Star.

  • Qin Yun assigned Guilliman to oversee the Nachmund Gauntlet evacuation, ordered Sanguinius’s body taken to Vigilant Star, and asked the Aeldari to help defend the Webway.
