As he filled the vacant marshal posts and Little Yellow awakened its Heavenly Phoenix bloodline, he refined a new Witch Soldier Seal and discovered it could make Su Qingqing obey his commands.

• Song Changming opened his Purple Mansion, reached the Grandmaster realm, and joined Hu Zhong and Xi Yanxue against the Su Family.
• Song Changming killed Su Jichuan, Su Ao, Su Xiang, and Su Dongdan as the Qiaoqiao Bird used the Heavenly Phoenix Feather to breach the Su Estate’s protective formation.
• Su Family retainers raided the Song Residence, but Su Qingqing and Qiaoqiao Bird protected the household, and Little Yellow’s bloodline awakening began.
• Song Changming was named Grand Marshal, recruited Lu Yuchen and six other scholars to his staff, and organized a contest to fill four vacant marshal posts.

• Song Changming rescued the captives at Cuibai Way, received the Heavenly Origin Body, and later obtained God-Eater and the Heavenly God Art of Lifting from Witch God Stone fragments.
• Song Changming joined King Cui’s campaign to protect Fox Mountain, helped defeat the demon alliance, and acquired another Witch God Stone fragment from Xi Yanxue.
• Song Changming killed the tiger demons who tried to murder Hya, bound her to serve him, and cultivated on an island until he broke through to Middle Realm Grandmaster.
• The Void-tail Demons used copper mirror fragments to free captured demons and attack Cuibai Way, but Song Changming returned and helped stop an incursion at military headquarters.
• King Cui gave Song Changming the recovered mirror fragments and brought him to Cloud Emperor City, where the Cloud Emperor announced an early Emperor’s Feast and Cloud Battle ahead of the Heavenly Ruins Realm’s opening.
• Song Changming defeated Situ Ming and Gao Zigu in the Cloud Battle and secured one of the Magatama that qualified its holder to enter the Heavenly Ruins Realm.
• While waiting in Cloud Emperor City, Song Changming explored the market, bought a Great Fin Dragon Pattern Fish, and declined Situ Ming’s offer of better fish.

Song Changming entered the Heavenly Ruins Realm, fought Great King Jiuyou and the White Worm demons, and reunited with Situ Ming amid a gathering of humans and demons. The barrier around the ancient tree vanished, but the tree devoured those who tried to claim its Fortune Fruits, and Chong Hao prepared to approach it.

• Song Changming entered the Heavenly Ruins Realm alone, found ancient ruins, and learned the Tiger Cannon Punch from a human skeleton before driving Great King Jiuyou away.
• Song Changming rescued Yi Lang from Heavenly Venerable Mo and later reunited with Song Changping and Song Chang'an at an ancient temple.
• Situ Ming obtained a bronze mirror fragment from a Void-tail Demon, escaped Great King Jiuyou, and found the Divine Tree beyond Black Mountain.
• Song Changming followed the old tree demon through Black Mountain, rescued the wounded Situ Ming, and learned that their clash with Great King Jiuyou had awakened the tree.
• Chong Yin and Chong Hao attacked Song Changming and Situ Ming, and Song Changming fought them while other Grandmasters and demons clashed around the tree.
• Heavenly Venerable Mo rescued Chong Yin after Song Changming nearly cut him in half, while Great King Jiuyou forced Song Changming back and the humans considered withdrawing.
• The barrier disappeared, but the Red Origin Immortal Tree seized and devoured several demons who tried to reach its Fortune Fruits.
• Ming Tie identified the tree and its fruits, and Chong Hao said he would try to approach it.

Song Changming claimed the Immortal Tree’s fruit, uncovered the ancient tombs beneath it, and defeated the demons who ambushed him. After learning the history of Emperor Abyss and the Star Devouring Dragon, he followed the Cloud Emperor into the Bottomless Abyss to inspect the dragon’s seal.

• Song Changming refined a Red Origin Fortune Fruit, then was dragged underground with other fruit-bearers when the Immortal Tree’s roots struck the Black Hunger Sun Devouring Beast and the earth collapsed.
• Song Changming and the others discovered ancient clan tombs, where ghostfire formed divine beast and ancestor phantoms that attacked them, while Song Changming’s God Devourer Blade grew stronger by devouring lingering souls.
• Song Changming witnessed an ancient war through Emperor Abyss’s remnant soul, escaped the collapsing underground chamber, and slashed Great King Jiuyou when he ambushed him.
• Song Changming trapped Great King Jiuyou, Heavenly Venerable Mo, and Chong Si in his Star Domain and killed them, while Hua Sichen killed Chong Yin and the surviving demons fled.
• Yuan San recognized Song Changming as the Witch God Stone’s inheritor, pledged to serve him, and helped kill the demons attacking the humans.
• Song Changming told the Cloud Emperor about the ancient war vision, and the Cloud Emperor explained that Emperor Abyss had led an army into the great fog to stop the Outer Realm Strange Beasts and had never returned.
• The Cloud Emperor took Song Changming to the Bottomless Abyss, where Song Changming saw the Star Devouring Dragon sealed by an ancient rune array and plunged into the abyss despite the danger.
