Guang Yinzi sighed in relief at the sight, but the next moment, flames ignited beneath Yuan Quezi's feet. Tongues of fire rolled upward in reverse, swallowing his body in an instant and burning his features beyond recognition, his clothes utterly consumed.

"Winds from all eight directions, put out the fire at once."

Jie Yuzi rubbed his fingers together, creating wind. The wind gathered and condensed into a gale, layer by layer shaving away the flames on Yuan Quezi's body.

The two members of the Fuji Organization acted swiftly, their coordination seamless—one could even call it breathtaking.

Yet no matter how formidable the methods, they could not stop a man bent on dying.

Yuan Quezi had made thorough preparations. He had hidden a self-destructing inscribed object within his body. The slap to his crown and the spontaneous combustion without wind had all been an act, meant to trick them into making the wrong assessment.

Sure enough, Guang Yinzi's suppression of him and Jie Yuzi's gathering wind into a gale to extinguish the fire had both fallen within his calculations.

With a faint brittle sound, a chunk of mud shell peeled off Yuan Quezi's hair. On the spot, his entire body turned into a clay man, its surface covered in cracked patterns as chunks of mud continually flaked away.

No one knew what method he had used to turn his flesh-and-blood body into weathered, crumbling clay.

By the time Guang Yinzi and Jie Yuzi realized it, it was already too late!

How fragile was a clay man? Under the double assault of gale wind and pressure, he was crushed directly into rotten mud, then sliced into scattered fragments, becoming soil and dust that
