Just as Luo Han passed out drunk, Tian Yue Shi came to Sister Shaku's room aboard the ship.
In the darkness, Sister Shaku asked sorrowfully, "Have you really thought this through? He's a very selfish little man. I'm afraid it might backfire."
The girl said solemnly, "I've made up my mind. I'm going to gamble on it. The future is too terrifying. I need his help, and this is the only way to make him act."
Sigh! Sister Shaku looked at the resolute girl before her, tears welling faintly in her eyes. After a long while, she sighed. "If that's the case, I'll make arrangements."
"Thank you so much, Sister Shaku." Tian Yue Shi bowed deeply in thanks, then left the room with a determined expression.
The next day, the sun shone brightly. Facing the dazzling light, Luo Han felt as though someone was calling him. Through his haze, he seemed to see Aixi scolding him.
"Luo Han, get up! Didn't you say you were sending Yue Shi home today? Stop sleeping!"
Aixi was quite unhappy. This guy had said last night that he would send Yue Shi home today, and he had seemed so anxious about it. Yet now he had slept until noon without waking up.
"Ugh..." Luo Han struggled to open his eyes. He raised a hand to block the light for quite a while before adjusting to its intensity.
"This body is way too weak. I need to think of a way to recover quickly!" Getting up and looking at his limp, powerless body, Luo Han grumbled inwardly. In the past, after drinking, he would wake up feeling like he'd had a beautiful dream, utterly refreshed. Why did he feel completely drained today?
Hm! Wait! Something seemed to have changed?
Then Luo Han froze.
