In the Gorosei's office, the newly appointed CP0 Chief knelt on one knee before the Gorosei, several newspapers in his hands.
They were all related to Roger and the Final Island!
Oh, right!
The Final Island now had a new name, one that had first spread from Roger and his crew: "Laugh Tale."
The CP0 Chief had come today to report on the series of events caused by Roger and to await the Gorosei's decision on how to deal with him.
"Pirate King!"
In the office, the elderly man with a sword stood behind the sofa with his long blade held across his chest. A sharp glint appeared in his icy eyes. "Roger, that bastard, really played us hard!"
The Gorosei had previously believed that Roger and his crew were merely searching for the Ancient Weapons, so they had not given it much thought.
Who would have thought!
It felt like only an instant had passed before Roger found the Final Island and became the Pirate King.
Most importantly, because of Roger, the legend of the Final Island had once again become something the world believed in.
That was what worried the Gorosei most!
"We worked so hard to suppress that legend until hardly anyone believed it!"

The blond elder fixed the CP0 Chief with a frigid stare. "Your CP0 failed to notice Roger's intentions at all. Utterly useless!"
"My apologies!"
This CP0 Chief seemed somewhat different. Though his mask concealed his expression, his tone was calm. He neither argued nor showed fear.
"Enough!"
The elder with the long beard stepped forward and said solemnly, "What matters now is how we stop the wave Roger has stirred up!"
