A year after Roger's withdrawal, Eternal City and the other great powers enjoyed a period of stability while Luo Han discovered Zou Island through the Lanternfish. Luo Han and his companions set out to visit it, but after arriving in the misty sea, they could not find Zunesha.

• Eternal City remained neutral and focused on development as the Whitebeard Pirates and Golden Lion's Flying Pirates grew stronger.
• The Lanternfish woke Luo Han through the Mind World and complained that Zunesha had disturbed it.
• Luo Han promised the Lanternfish he would help it get even with Zunesha and told Elles and Chiyue he had found Zou Island.
• Luo Han teleported the QQ to the plaza, and Elles, Chiyue, Aixi, and Cole loaded supplies aboard for the trip.

Luo Han and his companions searched a moving bank of fog for Zunesha and followed it to Zou Island. After clearing the fog, they landed beside the whale tree, where the island’s people appeared to be welcoming them.

• The Lanternfish told Luo Han it had lost Zunesha in the fog-covered sea, so Luo Han split up with Aixi, Elles, Chiyue, and Cole to search in different directions.
• Luo Han realized the fog was moving and searched along its path with Aixi, while Zunesha remained hidden and seemed wary of them.
• Luo Han called Elles, Chiyue, and Cole to join him and Aixi as they reached Zou Island aboard the QQ account.
• Luo Han used Psychokinesis to push away the fog around the island, revealing Zunesha and the whale tree.

• Tiger Fang learned that Luo Han had controlled Zou’s citizens and ordered the warriors to make rubbings of the Poneglyph.
• Ten days later, Luo Han took the Poneglyph aboard the QQ account and flew away from Zou with his companions.
• Zunesha struck the QQ account with its trunk, shattering Luo Han’s Telekinetic Shield, sending the group flying, and returning the Poneglyph to the Whale Tree.

• Judge accused Dr. Kukuru of being a World Government spy, then stabbed him and memorized several Life Design Blueprints.
• As he died, Dr. Kukuru pressed the machine’s self-destruct button, destroying the stored blueprints, and Judge smashed the machine in anger.

• Luo Han revealed himself at the shore, prompting Sengoku to order a retreat and the CP0 Chief to report the mission’s abandonment to the Gorosei.
• The CP0 Chief ordered the scientists killed, but Luo Han’s Telekinetic Shield blocked their attacks, and Kizaru’s attempt to kick Luo Han ended with him compressed into a light-filled sphere.
• Luo Han tossed Kizaru high above the island and approached the scientists while Sengoku and the CP0 Chief watched.
