Mr. Potter is out of luck again

In the days that followed, the foursome in Noah's dorm grew even busier.

Every day, after finishing their required classes, they would sneak off to the Room of Requirement for another round of deeper study. Because of that, the time they spent in the Common Room had basically dropped to zero.

That made quite a few Ravenclaw students worry about them. After all, a Ravenclaw who did not love studying was not a good Ravenclaw.

Awkward as that sounded, it was simply the truth.

Because of this, some students even made a point of going to Noah's dorm before bed to ask how they were doing. They were never there at any other time, and only came back just before the doors were closed.

Unfortunately, Noah and the other three did not tell them the truth. They only told them not to worry, that they would not let such minor things delay their studies.

What a joke. How could they casually reveal a secret like this?

Their efforts paid off as well. It could be said that, to varying degrees, they had already completely surpassed every student at this stage!

They had even begun to consider studying second-year coursework!

Of course, in their spare time, they would also discuss other things, such as what to call this little organization they had created, and what kind of people they should bring in in the future.

"A name?"

Noah froze unconsciously when he heard the question. Then, in his mind, countless names of once incredibly awesome organizations flashed by at once.

"There are tons. Like the Brotherhood? Dawn Guard? Blackrock Organization? Knights of the Round Table? Silver Hand? Tirisfal? Mithril Alliance? Illuminati? Aurora Society? Or—"

"Stop! Stop!"

Evan and the other two were left dizzy by Noah's move. They had thought for ages without coming up with a name, yet from Noah's mouth, names had somehow become the cheapest things around!

Damn, it was like he could produce as many as they wanted, all right?

Of course, they could not say all those names were good. At the very least, things like Tirisfal and Mithril Alliance felt strange to them. What kind of place was Tirisfal?

And while mithril was indeed an extremely precious material, it was not as though they had made their fortune off the stuff!

In the end, after discussing it for quite a while, and after Noah firmly vetoed the name "Ravenclaw Brotherhood," they unanimously agreed to simply call it the Mage Alliance.

It had to be said that while the name was fairly ordinary, it did point out their main purpose quite well. As for the boss of this alliance, that naturally went to Noah, the one who had discovered this place.

"What a shame, wasting so many good names." Noah sighed.

"Come on. The names were good, sure, but which part of them fits our current situation? Take Dawn Guard, for example. Please, vampires may exist, but we're so small we're no match for them! Besides, this place of ours doesn't seem to have even a copper's worth of connection to vampires!"

Faced with an answer like that, Noah could only accept it. As for the people they planned to recruit, they had already reached a certain conclusion. At Noah's suggestion, Evan and the others began to focus on observing the situation in Michael Conner's dorm.

Of course, for now, it was only observation. They had not yet reached the point of truly making a decision.

They voted unanimously to leave everything until the second half of the school year. In any case, Christmas was coming soon, and before that, there was still Halloween to get through.

They were already a little short on study time as it was. Where would they find so much energy to discuss all this?

"Ah, how annoying. If only we could skip a troublesome holiday like Halloween." As they walked toward the Potions Class classroom, Evan could not help complaining.

"Halloween's actually fine. I'm the one who doesn't really like Potions Class. This classroom is just way too uncomfortable." Luns muttered from the side. As he spoke, he kept glancing around to see if there were any Slytherin students or anything nearby.

The Potions Class classroom was in the basement of Hogwarts. Speaking of which, Slytherin's Common Room and dormitories were also here, and their location was even more interesting.

They were behind a stone wall in the lower dungeons of the castle. Slytherin's Common Room was directly called the Slytherin dungeon.

Noah had heard from a student who had been to Slytherin that Slytherin's Common Room and dormitories were all underground, or rather, beneath the lake, and that one could see the lake water through the windows.

Together with the rough stone ceiling, the green-glowing lamps hanging on the walls, and some skulls used as decorations, the entire room gave off an eerie, chilling air.

Supposedly, that student had run out immediately after just one look, then swore never to set foot in that damned place again. One could imagine just how unpleasant it was there.

However, it was said that Slytherin students were quite proud of it. In Noah's words, they were a bunch of "edgy" brats wearing expressions that said, "We're this amazing, so of course we should live somewhere this cool." Heaven knew what was cool about that damned place.

"Actually, this place isn't too bad. It's better than making you live in Slytherin for seven years, right? Speaking of which, your bloodline could actually have gotten you sorted into Slytherin." Noah laughed quietly from the side.

"Absolutely not. Thank the Sorting Hat. I've always thought it was filthy, but at least it didn't sort me into Slytherin! Most importantly, I hate snakes!" Luns said, his face a little pale.

It was not just Luns. Kate and Evan were more or less the same. Their faces all held a sense of relief.

Back then, the Sorting Hat had asked them whether they were willing to go to Slytherin. However, they had all refused, and so they had come to Ravenclaw.

"All right, stop talking about such uncomfortable topics. Tell me, how many times do you think Mr. Potter will be made difficult for by Professor Snape today?" Kate immediately changed the subject, and at the same time, a somewhat malicious smile appeared on his face.

They had taken Potions Class with Gryffindor several times already, and every time they had Potions Class, they clearly remembered Harry Potter being lectured quite miserably by Professor Snape.

Every time they saw Harry suffer, they found it rather amusing. They simply did not understand why Professor Snape hated The Boy Who Lived so much.

Of course, they did not pay that much attention to Harry. They were more interested in that Gryffindor girl named Hermione, because the girl really was extremely clever! If they had not studied quite a lot of knowledge in advance, they might genuinely not have been able to beat her.

"No idea, but I'm guessing he'll probably have a really hard time answering even one question, right?" Luns also broke into a wicked grin.

"Not necessarily, right? Since Mr. Potter knows full well that Professor Snape is targeting him, he should study properly. Surely he won't be unable to answer a single one?" Evan said, somewhat noncommittal.

"All right, why say so much?" Noah cut off this pointless chatter in time, because he noticed that the Gryffindor students had already started looking their way.

"In any case, all we need to know is that Mr. Potter is going to be unlucky again. What does anything else have to do with us?"
