"Wow, there was so much food today."

Noah looked at the delicious food filling the Great Hall and smiled without realizing it.

To be honest, Noah's standards for food were not as demanding as one might imagine. After delving deeper into magic, his appetite for food had actually diminished quite a bit.

Maybe he had been too absorbed? Noah did not know, but he was happy to rest properly when it was time to rest.

Like now. With so much delicious food before him, Noah would truly be letting down such a wonderful day if he did not savor it properly.

"There really is a lot. Escargot, pasta, American steak. Damn it, maybe Britain should really study how to make food that tastes good instead of thinking about adding ketchup to everything all day!"

Luns glanced at the food filling the hall, then thought carefully about what he had always eaten. He could not help feeling uncomfortable all over.

"But ketchup is vegetarian and rich in nutrients. My mum said eating food that is too greasy is bad for your health. Um, some people can end up getting fat like Longbottom."

Evan instinctively defended it, even though he himself found the food he ate utterly disgusting.

"Then keep eating your fish stew with ketchup. I want to try the Escargot. I read some Muggle magazines that said it has more protein than beef, lamb, or pork, while containing far less fat, as well as various minerals and vitamins. Honestly, I've wanted to try it since I was little, but I thought it was too disgusting and never dared to eat it."

Kate smiled at Evan, then turned to get some Escargot.

Luns headed straight for the South American barbecue, leaving only Noah and Evan sitting together.

"Noah, is that Escargot really like Kate said?" Evan looked at the two who had already left, then turned to Noah skeptically.

"More or less." Noah nodded, then stroked his chin and added, "The enzymes in it can also help digestion and clear stagnation, while glutamic acid and aspartic acid can enhance the activity of brain cells. Muggle scientists believe that eating more snails can nourish and beautify the skin and hair."

"Really? Those disgusting slugs? Then should I conjure some more?"

"Please, those are all farmed. Who knows whether the slugs you conjure might cause food poisoning!"

"Fine, fine. You really know a lot, Noah."

"Thanks."

Noah accepted Evan's praise without the slightest modesty. He did know quite a lot, after all.

He had never eaten this stuff before, but he had at least read similar reports. Besides, after coming to this world, he had lived in the Muggle world, so he naturally had access to more information.

After that, Noah did not stay seated. Hogwarts' dining hall was rather like a buffet—you went and got whatever you wanted to eat.

Noah got himself some steak and fruit salad. The only pity was that there was no red wine, otherwise Noah would have found it even more perfect.

Evan actually went and got himself some Escargot too. But the way he ate it, looking disgusted yet unwilling to spit it out, was truly rather amusing.

After all, while anyone could eat snails, not everyone could get used to them.

Everyone greatly enjoyed the dinner, and even Noah's group of four did not choose to leave early.

But just as everyone was eating with gusto, Professor Quirrell suddenly rushed headlong into the dining hall. His large turban sat crookedly on his head, and his face was filled with terror.

He ran all the way toward Professor Dumbledore, shouting as he ran, "Troll! Troll! In the dungeons! Thought you ought to know."

The moment he finished speaking, he collapsed onto the floor.

The students in the Great Hall froze for a moment before the place instantly erupted into chaos.

Professor Dumbledore had no choice but to make several ear-splitting bursts of fireworks explode from the tip of his wand before everyone finally quieted down. Only then could he properly arrange everything.

"A troll? Good heavens, how did a troll get out of the dungeons?" Evan muttered quietly, though there was clearly no fear on his face.

"Maybe someone was training that troll in the dungeons and failed to keep watch over it, so it got out?" Kate replied leisurely, taking a sip of her honey-brewed drink.

"What kind of troll do you think it is? A mountain troll, a forest troll, or a deep-water troll?" Luns was not worried in the slightest. He even had the mood to guess what kind it was.

It could not be helped. Trolls were indeed terrifying—terrible creatures twelve feet tall and weighing over a ton. Unfortunately, they were famed both for their immense strength and their utter stupidity.

Trolls also had their own weaknesses. Their eyes, for instance, were a particularly fatal vulnerability.

If a wizard had mastered magic like the Flash Spell, dealing with a troll would be very easy. As long as they cast it when the troll charged at them, the troll would basically only be able to clutch its eyes and roll around on the ground in agony.

Noah did not join the conversation. After being reborn, he had long gone from being a poor student to a top student, and he was very familiar with this sort of "basic" knowledge.

What he cared about was why this part of the plot had only started now. He remembered that it should have happened after they learned the Levitation Charm, shouldn't it?

Noah had even thought this stupid plot point would not happen again, but reality slapped him in the face—I might be late, but I sure as hell won't be absent, alright!

"Forget it. What's the point of thinking so much? Whatever happens, happens. Tony Stark and Charles Xavier are both here, so eighty percent of the things that should exist probably can't be avoided."

Noah shook his head and followed Ravenclaw's prefect as they prepared to return to their dormitory.

Clearly, they would not be allowed out again tonight. With this sudden incident, the dormitory doors would likely be shut early, and there might even be room inspections.

But at that moment, Noah suddenly noticed Harry and Ron quietly slipping away from the group before turning and running in another direction.

Clearly, they intended to find Hermione, who was most likely hiding in the bathroom crying after Ron had angered her. This suddenly stirred Noah's thoughts.

Although Noah had no intention of getting involved in these matters, his memories told him that the so-called Gryffindor Golden Trio had not been united at first. Their true bond began when Harry and Ron "risked their lives" to warn Hermione about the troll.

Noah knew Hermione's future very well. She would become the future Minister of Magic!

If that future Minister of Magic joined their Mage Alliance, the benefits they could gain would be beyond imagination!

"If I can win her over now and give her enough help, the returns in the future will definitely be unimaginable! It seems that even if I don't want to get involved this time, I have no choice."

After silently sorting everything out, Noah quietly said to Evan and the others, "I'll go see what's happening. You go back first."

"What?"
