With Ernie joining them, Noah's little group suddenly grew to six people.

That also made their daily studies much more interesting. For example, when Ernie had first joined, he had been just like Hermione before him, full of questions.

Fortunately, with the experience of Hermione, Noah directly had the Room of Requirement find him a suitable teacher this time.

This guy spent every day having the Room of Requirement summon terrifying magical creatures. Ernie was rather stunned by it. Though he did not think anything dangerous would happen, was this really okay?

But when he saw Noah casually take down all those magical creatures alone, he nearly broke down!

Good heavens, what was this guy even thinking?

Even an adult wizard, or even Luo Ao, would not dare claim they could handle these terrifying creatures with absolute certainty. So why could this guy take them out so easily?

Of course, that was not all.

When Luns, Kate, and Evan began training themselves the way Noah did, Ernie realized that he truly knew nothing at all!

So he could no longer hold it in and decided to ask.

"Why do you train like this? It seems like we don't really need to deal with magical creatures like these right now, do we?" Ernie asked directly during a break.

"What? Oh, you mean those magical creatures?"

Noah was making himself a cup of black tea and planning to take a proper rest, but he still answered Ernie's question. "We might not encounter them, but there's nothing wrong with being prepared. Besides, haven't you noticed that we always use the easiest methods to deal with them?"

"The easiest methods?" Ernie thought back and realized that seemed to be true!

Although every battle began with them trying out all the spells they knew, in the end they would decisively use one spell to make the magical creature disappear.

But what was the point of doing that?

"The point?" Luns was leaning against something, holding a book as he read.

Hearing Ernie's question, he smiled. "The point is to familiarize ourselves with them and verify whether these magical creatures are really like what the books say. Take Cockatrices, for example. They look terrifying, but we can use Shattering Skull against them. But we also consider whether they might fear other magic, whether there might be an even easier way to deal with them."

"But what's the point of that? You can clearly just cast Shattering Skull a few times, and it won't be able to take it!" Ernie still did not understand.

"That's true. As for us, we have basically mastered the strengths and weaknesses of all known magic, and we know what they fear and what they do not. But casting more spells benefits us. Not only does it help us become more familiar with our spells, there's also one more important reason."
