No Problem at All

Dumbledore made his decision inwardly, but gave no indication of it.

It could not be helped. He was the headmaster of a magic school.

His attitude toward Harry had already seemed rather improper. If there was one more person, what would everyone else think?

So Dumbledore decided to change the subject. He looked at the honest Noah with a smile, finding the boy more pleasing to the eye the longer he looked at him.

At such a young age, he had dared to face Voldemort directly. Moreover, he had resisted temptation and destroyed a fragment of Voldemort's soul. Even adult wizards might not have been able to do that!

This was not a matter of ability, but whether one had the courage to do it!

Voldemort's reputation was simply too terrifying. Whoever heard his name would basically lose their nerve first. How could they possibly have the courage to face him?

Wasn't Quirrell the most typical example?

Voldemort's soul fragment had been extremely weak. It could even be said that the thing was not much stronger than an ordinary ghost!

To deal with such a thing, a beam of strong sunlight would have been enough to solve the problem.

But the moment Quirrell realized who he was facing, he had clearly fallen into endless fear. In the end, Voldemort tempted him until he fell into the abyss.

As for Noah, the boy had treated Voldemort like an ordinary ghost. The moment they met, he cast Bright as Day, burning Voldemort's soul fragment to ashes!

Should I offer a class on magical creatures as well?

Dumbledore thought to himself, though he also knew that starting every new class was not so simple.

First, those troublesome school governors would be hard to deal with. Second, the Ministry of Magic might not approve it either. That was what left Dumbledore helpless.

Shaking his head, Dumbledore looked at Noah once more. "Mr. Philney, may I ask you something?"

"Of course, Professor Dumbledore. Also, just call me Noah." Noah nodded. He had no issues to hide, so he was not afraid of being questioned.

"Since you had already analyzed that Harry's adventure would not be safe, and that it would be fraught with danger, you are a clever child. Why did you still choose to go with him? Was it merely because you were worried about Harry's safety?"

"That was part of it." Noah nodded, then scratched his head a little awkwardly. "Of course, there was another reason."

"Another reason?"

"Yes."

Noah nodded, and Harry and Ron turned their eyes toward him as well.

They were also curious why Noah had helped them. Harry could naturally tell that Noah did not care in the slightest about his so-called identity as The Boy Who Lived.

Of course, Harry himself did not think he was The Boy Who Lived either, especially compared to Noah.

"Well, it was also because of our agreement. I thought I probably would not be able to complete it this term." Noah said awkwardly, "The Slytherin students are too difficult to deal with. Even though Kate tried everything he could think of, there was no effect, so..."

"So you planned to help Harry solve their problem and see whether you could persuade me to let you meet the requirements?" Dumbledore directly finished what Noah had left unsaid, then laughed.

This little fellow was truly interesting.

Dumbledore naturally knew that the Slytherin students were indeed not easy to deal with. Pure-blood students held the dominant position there, and those who had no interest in their pure-blood ideas did not dare foolishly stand out.

Therefore, it was perfectly normal that Noah and the others could not find suitable candidates. Dumbledore simply had not expected these little fellows to solve the problem in such a way, and he found it quite amusing.

Fortunately, Dumbledore had no intention of making things difficult for them. Besides, had they not handled this "adventure" perfectly?

"That's right, Professor Dumbledore." Noah nodded somewhat awkwardly, though he did not think there was anything wrong with what they had done.

"An agreement? What agreement?" Harry was a little bewildered. He had no idea Noah and Professor Dumbledore had some kind of agreement.

After all, Noah was only an exceptionally outstanding student, while Dumbledore was the headmaster of Hogwarts!

No matter how outstanding Noah was, he was still far inferior to Professor Dumbledore. Harry truly did not know what kind of agreement they could possibly have.

"A very interesting little agreement. Noah planned to gather the outstanding first-years and students from later years, and he created a very interesting little organization. Oh, sorry. Please forgive me; we should not have said so much."

Whether deliberately or not, Dumbledore directly told Harry about Noah and the others.

Of course, he did not finish. He only revealed half of it before saying no more, because he had noticed that Noah and the others did not look too pleased.

"Gather outstanding students? Create a little organization?" Harry and Ron listened to this information blankly. They had not expected things to be like this.

But thinking about it, which one among Noah's group was not an outstanding student?

And strictly speaking, they really did come from different Houses. Aside from Noah and those from his dormitory, Hermione was from Gryffindor, while Ernie came from Hufflepuff!

Adding in their earlier discussion about Slytherin, no matter how foolish the two of them were, they understood what this meant!

They could not help feeling somewhat dejected. So in their eyes, they did not even count as outstanding—not even close?

And the main reason this proud group had helped them was because they had not fulfilled their agreement with Professor Dumbledore. As for the result of that agreement, Harry guessed it was probably Dumbledore acknowledging their organization.

Seeing the somewhat dejected Harry, Dumbledore shook his head helplessly. Perhaps revealing these things had not been quite right?

But he did not dwell on it. With such a stimulus, perhaps Harry would mature more quickly.

Turning around, Dumbledore looked at Noah. "Noah, you did very well this time, so our agreement has been fulfilled!"

"Really? That's wonderful!" Before Noah could even speak, Kate and the others immediately grew excited!

This was truly great news!

Did that not mean the Room of Requirement would definitely belong to them from now on?

Over the past year or half year, they knew very clearly just how much they had grown through the Room of Requirement. They had already completely widened the gap between themselves and students in the same year!

"However, do not celebrate too soon. You are doing wonderfully now, but I have one request."

Looking at the delighted group, Dumbledore smiled, then his expression became somewhat serious. "Promise me that every year from now on, sufficiently outstanding students from every House must join you. Do you understand? Do not forget how you promised me in the beginning."

"There will be no problem at all, Professor Dumbledore!"
