"John Constantine? Why are you here?"
"Because there are things I might need your help with. Things I can't understand or resolve myself."
Noah slowly walked over to stand before them, studying the two of them with some curiosity.
Honestly, he had no idea why these two had come looking for him. He was just a wizard, not an exorcist. Why did Constantine think he could help?
"Why do you think I can help? And why should I help you?"
"Maybe you're far more professional than I am in many matters. Besides, this isn't unpaid work. It's paid—and very well paid. Interested?"
"Oh? Then let's find somewhere to sit."
Angela silently listened to their conversation. Honestly, she had no idea why this so-called exorcist had brought her here.
But she did not ask too many questions. Earlier, when she had arranged to meet Constantine, she had been attacked by demons. She no longer dared to underestimate anyone or anything.
Even if it was only a beautiful, elegant woman and a child who looked fourteen or fifteen, she would not find it strange anymore.
Perhaps this strange pair possessed abilities beyond imagination.
They found a roadside stall at random. After Constantine ordered some food, he handed Noah something that looked like a patient identification band.
Noah took the band and casually glanced at the name on it. He immediately understood roughly what had happened.
"That really is evil. Looks like you went to hell, right? How did you get there? Forget it, it doesn't matter. What exactly do you want from me?"
"I want you to help me find these rule-breakers and kick them back where they belong! Obviously, you felt it too, right? The evil in that power, and that Demon Soldier you took care of a few days ago."
