Early the next morning, robins sang atop the branches. In a hotel in Westminster, Noah rubbed his head and slowly sat up.

Looking at Hermione lying beside him, Noah smiled.

Everything that had happened yesterday had felt so natural, so smooth that even Noah himself found it hard to believe.

But now, he felt there was nothing unbelievable about it. Noah liked Hermione, though he did not know when it had begun.

He could not even be bothered to think about why he liked this girl or why he wanted to be with her. All he knew was that he was happy right now, and that he liked this girl. That was enough.

He gently stroked Hermione's long hair. It was soft and smooth, but apparently Noah's movements did not feel all that gentle to Hermione.

Or perhaps Hermione had never been sleeping very deeply. Her previous work had probably given her a rather unusual body clock, so she opened her eyes drowsily.

She looked up at Noah, then lowered her gaze to look at her current state. A smile suddenly appeared on Hermione's face.

"Looks like our esteemed Sanctum Guardian, future Sorcerer Supreme, Archmage Phileas, lied after all."

Hermione did not seem embarrassed in the slightest. She slowly sat up and rested her head against Noah's shoulder. "Weren't you going to invite me to watch the sunrise? I'm afraid we've missed our chance now."

"Watching the sunrise is easy, darling." Noah reached out and wrapped an arm around Hermione's waist. "We just need to go somewhere the sun hasn't risen yet. Are you rested?"

"If we're talking about rest, then it was rather terrible." Hermione closed her eyes and said with a smile, "Someone was far too energetic last night, so..."

Noah looked speechlessly at the woman before him.
