Things unfolded much as Noah had expected. Once the Archmages of the Supreme Council completed the restructuring and informed the other Kamar-Taj mages, the entire Kamar-Taj was thrown into turmoil.
This reform was simply too extensive. It could be said that the reorganization had begun from Kamar-Taj's highest levels.
What reassured everyone, however, was that the restructuring involved no bloodshed. Everything seemed to have been agreed upon beforehand and was carried out decisively. Only the more ordinary Kamar-Taj mages were somewhat confused about what was happening.
But they soon had no need to think too much about it. They were assigned directly into Sanctum divisions, becoming organized mages under a proper structure.
Once everything was complete, Noah explained some of the more important matters to them, finally putting the Kamar-Taj mages at ease.
Anyone would have found it hard to accept such a terrifying upheaval at Kamar-Taj only days after a new Sorcerer Supreme had taken office. Noah's personal explanation gave the Kamar-Taj mages much greater confidence.
Whether it was arcane arts, even more profound knowledge, or the Supreme Council itself, all of it held unimaginable appeal for them.
The higher one rose within the Council, the more likely one was to come into contact with higher-level magic. Of course, as Kamar-Taj mages, they could already access relatively comprehensive knowledge.
Only Domain magic could not be viewed or studied at will. It required sufficient strength and knowledge as a foundation.
These mages now had ample motivation as well. After all, who did not want to gain more knowledge or earn greater respect?
With the Kamar-Taj mages settled, all that remained were the students of Kamar-Taj University.
They were also somewhat bewildered by the sudden division into academies. Although they had experienced house systems at their various magic schools before, this
