"What a fine bunch of prey..."
Above the warship, a burly giant over three meters tall stood with his arms folded.
His bright yellow eyes swept over Meng Lie and the others on deck. He stuck out his tongue and licked the corner of his mouth, an excited smile spreading across his face.
"When did you discover us!?"
Meng Lie swallowed with difficulty. By now, he had realized that these beastmen had probably discovered them long ago.
If it had only been the beastmen surrounding the ship, they would still have had a chance to resist. But now that a Grandmaster-level beastman had appeared, they had no hope of escape whatsoever.
Though he understood this, Meng Lie gritted his teeth and shouted.
"Open fire at once!!"
The beastmen had mobilized such a force that they clearly had no intention of letting them go. Though he did not know what the final outcome would be, it certainly would not be anything good.
Since they could not escape, they might as well fight until the fish died and the net broke, even if this net was so sturdy it inspired despair.
"Oh? You still want to resist? How interesting..."
A mocking smile appeared on the burly beastman's face, as though he had seen something amusing, and he reached down with a grasping hand.
Before the sailors and soldiers could fire the cannons, a powerful force enveloped the thick barrels on either side of the warship. The next instant, they were folded clean in half.
With that single move, those formidable cannons were completely ruined.
The sight chilled the sailors and soldiers to their cores. They looked up at the burly beastman overhead in terror, while the beastmen surrounding the warship roared with even greater excitement.
