"Brother Su Lun, you're as punctual as ever."
A clear female voice came from the other side of the stone platform.
Dressed in a plain white gown, Su Wan stood before four black-clad guards, her sleeves fluttering sharply in the wind.
The four behind her stood ramrod straight, their auras all at the demigod level. They were elite explorers specially assigned by the Alchemist Alliance.
Su Lun cupped his hands in greeting.

Na Ya craned her head curiously toward the foot of the cliff. All she saw was swirling mist and a bottomless drop, and she could not help pouting.

Su Wan smiled and turned her hand over, producing a jade disc wreathed in a flowing seven-colored halo. Ancient patterns covered its surface, and faint spatial fluctuations seeped from it.
Su Lun took out an identical jade disc at the same time. They exchanged a glance, then both channeled their Divine Astral Force, pouring an unending stream of immense power into the discs.
Humm-
Both jade discs blazed with dazzling seven-colored light. Two thick streams of radiance shot through the air, striking straight toward the bottom of the cliff.
Rumble...
A dull roar rose from deep underground, and the entire cliff face trembled faintly. The rock wall, originally as hard as iron, gradually warped and turned insubstantial. Seven-colored light spilled from its cracks, gathering ever more densely until it formed a vortex several dozen feet tall
