Shrek City, Shrek Academy.
As the continent's largest city and greatest academy, this place was where countless people longed to be.
Shrek Academy covered an extremely vast area. It was itself a city.
In fact, during ancient times, what was now Shrek Academy had been Shrek City. Later, after the Spirit Pagoda was founded, Huo Yuhao, the Spirit Ice Douluo and first-generation Tower Master of the Spirit Pagoda, proposed expanding Shrek City. That was how it came to possess the scale of the continent's greatest city.
The original Shrek City had thus been entirely incorporated into Shrek Academy, becoming an academy on the scale of a city.
Every three years, Shrek Academy recruited new students. For Spirit Masters, this was the most important event on the entire continent.
Simply being able to come to Shrek Academy for the entrance examination was already a source of pride for many young Spirit Masters. There was even a saying in the continent's Spirit Master world: any Spirit Master who came to apply for Shrek Academy and failed would still be admitted to an Advanced Academy without an examination.
And in fact, that saying was true. Those selected to participate in Shrek Academy's assessment were all elites among elites.
Yet even among those elites, only a small fraction could pass the assessment and join Shrek Academy—and that was merely the Outer Courtyard.
Shrek Academy admitted two hundred Outer Courtyard students every three years. Of those two hundred spots, fifty were reserved for those who had failed their applications to the Inner Courtyard.
There were only fifty application spots for the Inner Courtyard each intake. Passing was naturally best, but even if they failed, they could still join the Outer Courtyard and would have another chance to take the Inner Courtyard examination in the future.
