Na Nali Brought a Whip to Beg Forgiveness

Fors looked at Na Nali, her tone flat and devoid of much emotion, yet it made the latter's heart tighten.

A cold sweat instantly broke out across Na Nali's back, as though an invisible pressure had enveloped her. She hurriedly explained, "Lady Fors, please see clearly! I have always been one of your people! Dark Blood Demon launched that attack on his own initiative. I knew nothing about it and was kept in the dark as well!"

She knew perfectly well how domineering Fors could be. Back then, she had suffered plenty at Fors's hands. The only way to ensure her safety now was to clear herself completely.

"I know." Fors nodded slightly, her gaze calm and unruffled. "Otherwise, do you think you would still be standing here?"

If Na Nali had truly dared to entertain any improper thoughts just now, Fors would have had no choice but to reluctantly take her head and exchange it for merits at the Spirit Pagoda.

As her words fell, Fors moved with graceful steps. Her skirt swayed lightly as she made her way to the massive crater that had been smashed into the ground.

At the bottom of the crater, Dark Blood Demon's Soul Power had been sealed. After Na Nali's merciless blow, all four of his limbs had long since broken and twisted out of shape. He lay there on the verge of death, like a lump of mud.

That was already Na Nali showing restraint. She had guessed that Fors might still have some use for him and had therefore spared his life. Otherwise, with the force of that Bell Martial Soul, Dark Blood Demon would have long been reduced to pulp.

Fors bent down and looked coldly upon the defeated man at the bottom of
