In Mobius's view, Servants were an exceptionally good biological model.
They needed neither food nor water. As long as they had sufficient magical energy, they could keep operating indefinitely, and there was no need to worry about their parts being damaged from running for too long.
However, the fact that they could not survive without magical energy and needed to plunder it from other living beings still made Mobius frown slightly.
Mobius was not frowning over the sacrifice of living creatures. In most cases, if Servants wanted to exist in this world without a Master, they could only devour ordinary people as a source of magical energy. Mobius was no stranger to death and did not mind it, but she still considered this a flaw.
When Mobius learned of Soul Materialization and discovered that it could continuously generate magical energy, she approved of this form of existence. Later, however, she became somewhat disdainful of it because it could no longer continue growing.
Although Soul Materialization gave a person's soul infinite magical energy, making it extremely powerful, and there was no specific statement that a materialized soul could no longer grow, Mobius could not accept turning something intangible into a fixed form. She believed it squandered the soul's potential.
In short, Mobius wanted the convenient trait Servants possessed—the ability to rapidly recover even from severe injuries as long as they had magical energy—without wanting to stop improving herself.
In Mobius's eyes, true perfection probably meant combining Soul Materialization, the Houra Medicine, and the possibility of infinite evolution.
