How soon one felt lonely after entering the Dimensional Sea depended on how many friends one had and how close those friends were.
It was quite amazing.
And this loneliness that lingered in one's heart would gradually dissipate upon entering a Dimensional Sea settlement, a world, or arriving at a treasure point.
It felt a little like warming oneself by a campfire on a cold night.
It was precisely because there was a solution at the latter treasure points that the Dimensional Sea had not yet become so lonely and boring as to drive people to despair.
This sense of loneliness could actually be adapted to slowly, much like being poisoned often enough could grant poison resistance. But gradually adapting to loneliness was not a good thing, because it might change one's personality.
Yakumo Yukari and the others had no interest in adapting to loneliness. More importantly, they genuinely had a way to avoid it.
So, after exploring for an entire afternoon, they decisively returned to the bar for refuge.
I'll leave the rest of the Dimensional Sea exploration to tomorrow's me!
And the nearest human settlement was still six treasure points away from Yakumo Yukari and the others...
There was no universal definition of time in the Dimensional Sea, because the flow of time in some regions could even become chaotic.
So Yakumo Yukari and the others could only track their journey by the number of treasure points.
There had originally been eleven treasure points. Five had now been collected, so they were nearly halfway there... In theory, they should reach the nearest human settlement before tomorrow night.
But in the Dimensional Sea, one could never imagine what one would encounter next, so this estimate could not be relied upon.
