It wasn't easy!!!
It really wasn't easy!
Although this was already Ru Qing's fifth book, it was also Ru Qing's first original novel. Being able to finish it truly left me feeling fulfilled!
Of course, this book had many flaws.
Leaving aside how many times Ru Qing's updates became unstable after having a child, even the quality of the book itself could not hide its flaws, no matter that Ru Qing persisted in writing over three million words.
At the very least, Ru Qing wasn't satisfied with it.
There was no helping it. At the beginning, Ru Qing wanted to write a sweet, lovey-dovey story—a book where the protagonist spread sweetness everywhere in Another World, lived lovingly with the Princess and the demons, and made a whole crowd of ordinary people die from envy.
That was why Ru Qing gave the protagonist an almost invincible setup right from the start. At its core, this was never meant to be a leveling novel packed with battles, but a sweet romance story.
Some readers who had chatted with Ru Qing should have known that.
Unfortunately, at some point, after listening to the suggestions of a few readers, I increased the amount of combat.
And well, once I started writing that, the whole thing completely went off track.
You readers probably noticed too, right? The first half of this book barely had any battle scenes at all. It was all about the protagonist's antics, wasn't it?
But from the middle onward, the book started to change in flavor.
As a result, once I turned around and wrote battles and more serious parts, all the settings originally established for the sweet romance became mere decorations, even limitations. What came afterward felt completely unsatisfying—neither here nor there—and Ru Qing herself
