Humans on the Battlefield

Demon Realm, eastern region.

This was a wilderness battlefield.

At this very moment, several thousand demons were locked in fierce combat on the battlefield.

These several thousand demons seemed to belong to two camps. One looked like monsters, with ferocious faces, long pointed ears, and dark blue skin. The other had appearances similar to humans, except that faint fish-scale-like scales covered various parts of their bodies, giving them an indescribable beauty.

Clearly, the demons from these two camps belonged to two different races.

Now, the demon camps of these two different races were fighting fiercely, causing the battlefield to tremble without cease.

"Release the monsters!"

A young demon girl stood behind the demon forces that resembled humans. Tiny sparkling scales covered her neck, and she was exceptionally beautiful. Bathed in the admiring and worshipful gazes of her fellow clansmen, she calmly issued orders.

Under the demon girl's command, monsters were released one after another from a group of cages farther to the rear. Roaring loudly, they charged into the battlefield.

"Mage squad, prepare!"

Seeing this, a demon man who was clearly also a commander shouted an order from behind the monster-like demons. The mages standing in neat rows before him all raised their staffs and began chanting spells.

Astonishing magical power surged around those mages, telling everyone that their levels were not low and that their magic power was exceptional.

It had to be said that demons were indeed blessed by nature. Though they were not like the Elves, born as mages, they generally possessed tremendous magic power. Even warriors without a talent for magic had considerable magical power.
