At the very top floor of Supreme Castle, Sela strolled through the area as though taking a leisurely walk through a garden.
She was not in her office handling the endless stream of documents, nor did she appear to be making any arrangements for the impending Three Races conference. She simply headed purposefully forward and arrived at an exceptionally vast hall.
The enormous hall was as solemn as a temple, yet it lacked the peculiar sacred air of one.
However, right in the center of this vast hall stood an enormous door.
It was a door like the surface of water or a mirror, its face incomparably smooth, crystalline, and translucent, as though it led to a land of dreams.
All sorts of facilities surrounded the door: railings, walls, magical devices, barriers, even guard platforms. At a glance, it was obvious that many people were normally stationed here to guard it.
There was also a registration counter, appraisal tools for scanning an individual's status, and all manner of other arrangements. It rather resembled an immigration checkpoint at a national border.
Yet this place, usually filled with all kinds of demon officials and demon warriors, did not have a single person in it at this moment.
