The next morning.
When Shien crawled out of bed, his mind was still in a daze.
He stumbled out of his room, then listlessly began washing up. He remained in that foggy state until, after a while, he burst into another room and shook awake a sleepy little girl.
"What are you doing so early in the morning?"
Hugging a pillow, Aiyi nodded off as if she were dozing, her little face full of displeasure. Clearly, having her sleep disturbed had put her in a terrible mood.
But Shien had no choice. He desperately needed someone to share his current feelings with.
"Let me tell you, I'm in big trouble."
Shien still looked completely dazed.
"What kind of big trouble?"
Aiyi still looked thoroughly annoyed.
