After leaving the room, Shien brought up Tier's situation to the rest of Vivian's Squad while they were having breakfast.
Naturally, everyone in Vivian's Squad was startled.
"Tier went to the Empire alone?"
"H-how could she do that!?"
Merika and Lumya involuntarily stood up, at a complete loss.
Vivian's expression changed as well.
Though she did not know about Moro, Vivian knew that House Laifirut was in the Empire.
Tier had actually gone to the Empire alone. Wasn't that walking straight into a trap?
Yet Vivian did not panic.
"Was this Tier's own decision?"
Vivian looked at Shien and asked seriously.
"It was her own decision." Shien ate his breakfast with an unchanged expression, as though nothing more than a minor matter had happened. "It was a little reckless, but judging by how she looked, this is clearly very important to her. And since that's the case, you know her personality. I couldn't stop her."
Vivian fell silent.
Instead, Lumya and Merika hurriedly spoke up.
"Then let's hurry over and find her!"
That was what Merika thought.
"E-even if we can't bring Tier back, it would still be better if we all went together."
Lumya looked worried as well.
"You think I didn't consider that?" Shien rolled his eyes. "But she thinks it'll be more convenient to infiltrate the Empire alone. Too many people would draw attention, especially me."
In other words, Tier wanted to act alone and did not want to go with everyone.
"Th-then..."
Merika and Lumya became even more flustered.
"Alright, calm down first." Vivian finally spoke, comforting the two girls. "Since Tier chose to do this, she must have her own thoughts and reasons. Let's respect her decision."
Clearly, Vivian had accepted it.
"...Is that really alright?"

Merika and Lumya, however, were still extremely uneasy.
