After learning that the Demon Lord and Supreme God’s root artifacts were inside his body, Shien feared they could harm or mutate him. Lasha explained that she had sensed the Demon Lord’s Jade all along, while Laisha had been unable to detect it because she had lost an important power.

• Shien returned from meeting the Goddess and considered her hints about the Demon Lord’s resurrection, deciding that Danas had not yet gathered everything needed.

• The hot winds blasted Geno away from the bundle, which a black-robed Magic Life form recovered before attacking her.
• As the Magic Life form prepared to kill Geno, Merika arrived and used nature magic to crush it beneath the trees.
• Merika reached the dying Geno and called to Shien for help as he descended on a giant black dragon.
