Hiss-
The heavy metal door slowly opened, and a one-eyed man in a black cloak walked into a cell in the Raft.
"Oh, look who's here! Isn't this our famous Director Fury? What brings you here to visit an old man like me today?"
The cell's sole prisoner greeted Nick Fury with a broad smile.
"It's been a while, Mr. Norman Osborn."
Nick Fury ignored Norman Osborn's sarcasm and nodded to him.
The man imprisoned in this cell was none other than the former Green Goblin, Norman Osborn.
With the research data Harry Osborn had provided, S.H.I.E.L.D. had long since resolved the side effects afflicting Norman Osborn, so his mind was now completely sound.
Of course, S.H.I.E.L.D. hadn't kept Norman Osborn locked up out of any concern for law or justice. They simply wanted to keep Harry Osborn on the hook, working for them, while squeezing some benefits out of Norman.
But whether as the Green Goblin or Norman Osborn, he was a crafty old fox. How could he possibly let S.H.I.E.L.D. take advantage of him? He had figured out their intentions long ago and secretly instructed Harry during a prison visit not to let S.H.I.E.L.D. lead him around by the nose.
On top of that, S.H.I.E.L.D. had been busy rooting out moles recently, which was why Norman Osborn had remained in the Raft all this time.
"I'm here to let you out."
"...What will it cost me?"
Norman Osborn paused in surprise. He certainly didn't believe Nick Fury would be kind enough to release him for no reason.
He wasn't afraid of Nick Fury setting conditions. Conditions meant there was room to negotiate. If they released him without asking for anything, that might mean S.H.I.E.L.D. had screwed his son over badly. They might even have already bled the Osborn
