I'd honestly thought my editor, Penglai, had forgotten I even existed...
After all, I rarely logged onto QQ, and we hardly ever talked...
I never expected him to quietly apply for a major front-page feature for me...
What an editor of the century!
Although when I asked the great Penglai why he'd given me the feature, his answer was, "To mark the occasion"...
The subtext was probably that this would be my last recommendation, and he'd wash his hands of me after this, huh?

Especially those few who often popped up in the group chat. For all sorts of reasons, I rarely logged onto QQ, so they were pretty much the ones keeping that half-dead group alive. On the rare occasions I did log in, there would still be dozens of messages waiting. That was no small feat...
