Following Officer Yuri's report, Peter Parker arrived at an art gallery that had once belonged to Kingpin.
Of course, it still belonged to Fisk. Its assets were simply under official review, and any property found to have been acquired illegally would be auctioned off, with the proceeds going into New York City's coffers.

At most, he would have to "donate" a few pieces of art to help out New York City's finances.
Slipping into the gallery through a ventilation duct by the back entrance, Peter discovered that a group of robbers wearing bizarre black-and-white masks had taken control of the place. They were interrogating the gallery's curator, apparently looking for some documents.

He crawled silently across the ceiling, looking for an opportunity to save the curator.
As he crept along, Peter quietly thinned the robbers' ranks, taking them by surprise and webbing them to the ceiling or leaving them dangling from the beams one by one.
Perhaps the masks restricted their vision, because not a single robber Spider-Man had suspended overhead was spotted by his companions.
While clearing out the robbers, Peter found a camera on a shelf in a storeroom. It clearly didn't belong to the gallery, so it seemed the reporter the curator had mentioned really did exist.
