The new book is the Harry Potter fanfic I mentioned before. The premise is simple: a kitty gained Druid Magic, turned into a human, and then went to Hogwarts.
I'd had this idea for a long time, but back then I hadn't found Zhongyuan yet, and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to capture what being a cat felt like. So I started by outlining this Marvel fic instead. Then, just as I was nearly done with the outline, I found Zhongyuan...
It felt a little like fate.
But I'd only just started keeping a cat then, and I still couldn't write one well, so I wrote this book first anyway.
Once I actually started writing, though, I realized that whether I'd kept a cat didn't really make much difference...
The title was originally going to be "Definitely Not an Animagus." After all, this book had already been through a title-change controversy, and I hadn't seen any other fanfics run into the same issue after mine... so I figured I'd head off the problem.
But my editor said titles with "Hogwarts" in them attracted more attention and asked me to change it again...
Following the boss's advice, I just changed it to "The Druid Master of Hogwarts." I don't know which title you'll be able to find it under...
