By the time Ye Lei woke up, exactly five days had passed since they left the Forbidden Land of Fire.

When Ye Lei opened his eyes, he saw the familiar lights of the master bedroom in his villa. Confused, he picked up the phone beside him and lit the screen, only to discover that five days had already passed. Just as he climbed out of bed, a wave of weakness swept through his entire body, and he nearly collapsed back onto the mattress.

Ye Lei lowered his head with a bitter smile. He had not expected that merely trying to end the battle faster would trigger such a severe reaction.

It seemed that while the ability granted by his sixth Soul Ring was indeed powerful, its drawbacks were far too great.

If he did not find a way to improve it quickly, then one day, if the whole team was out fighting and he entered a berserk state because of it, there would not be a single person among the Eight Soul Suppressors capable of stopping him. The only option might be to wait until his Soul Power ran out.

His father had gone through so much trouble to bring him back from Jiyinluosi Island. Ye Lei truly had no idea how Han Keqin had dragged someone as large as him back across the sea, though perhaps he had mobilized a fighter jet.
