After five days of high-intensity physical training ended, Lin Wei and the others welcomed the first day off of their month-long special training.
Never had they looked forward to a break so desperately. Once they got home, nearly all of them collapsed onto their beds and did not even want to get up. After all, over those five days of intense training, they had risen at six every morning, started cross-country runs with weighted packs at eight-thirty, and still had to complete a twenty-kilometer long-distance run at night. After five straight days of that, by the time the break arrived, they felt as though their bodies no longer belonged to them.
When their parents saw their children exhausted to such a miserable state, they could not help but feel distressed. They wanted to speak to the Ministry of Education teachers and have their children withdraw from the training, but to their surprise, their children refused.
They were tired, of course, but they had also discovered that their physical fitness had grown stronger than before, and even their Soul Power had increased by at least two levels.
They had already endured such high-intensity physical training. If they withdrew now, they would probably be called cowards in Kyoto for the rest of their lives.
