Ye Lei rescued Luo Yun from two men from the Elder Hall, then confronted the Seventh Elder as he ordered his men to seize students with good aptitude. The Seventh Elder recognized Ye Lei, who told him that another Ye Lei was still unconscious in the Realm of Adversity.

• Han Nuan and Ye Lei noticed two men carrying Luo Yun away from the library after she called for help.
• Ye Lei blocked the men, slapped them, and snapped their necks before Han Nuan caught Luo Yun.
• Luo Yun told Han Nuan she did not know where Qiao Na and Yun Ning were, and Han Nuan realized Ye Lei had disappeared along with the bodies.
• The Seventh Elder ordered a hundred uniformed men to bring him students with good aptitude and break the legs of anyone who resisted.

Ye Lei confronted the Seventh Elder and his forces, but allies arrived to even the odds. The battle began with Ye Lei facing two powerful women, and their Soul Skills remained locked against each other.

• The Seventh Elder ordered his men to continue tying someone up and challenged Ye Lei when he arrived.
• The Seventh Elder attacked Ye Lei with his First Soul Skill, but Lao Yang and six others arrived and cut down the red dragon with a Water Element attack.
• Ye Lei and his seven allies prepared to fight the Seventh Elder's hundred men, while Ye Lei took on the two women.
• Ye Lei warned his allies not to look into the Nine-Headed Serpent woman's eyes and used Spider Web Restraint to interrupt her Medusa Soul Skill.

Jing Hang and Qiao Na defended Song Yang’s group from an attack by Seventh Residence Hall Soul Masters. Jing Hang used his newly acquired Thunderous Trample to disable the attackers, and Song Yang finished them off.

• Ye Lei’s Soul Beast Detector revealed that Nine-Headed Serpent and Poison Scorpion had stronger Soul Ring configurations than Xiao Xiong.
• Nine-Headed Serpent and Poison Scorpion attacked Ye Lei together, but his Spider Web Restraint failed to stop Poison Scorpion and his Blue Silver Emperor Vines blocked Nine-Headed Serpent’s flames.

• Ye Lei collapsed after losing a lot of blood, and Han Nuan said he had asked them to find Teacher Huang and mentioned Nine Heart Begonia.
• Song Yang recognized that Huang Xiaoshu's Nine Heart Begonia could heal Ye Lei and sent Han Nuan to find her at No. 8 Middle School.

• Shu Ting entered the noisy classroom, scolded the students over the damaged door and railing, and told the network admin to play a movie.

Ye Lei confronted five attackers who had kidnapped Huang Xiaoshu, trapping them in his domains and demanding her release. When their leader refused, Ye Lei and his companions prepared to fight.

• Ye Lei pretended to recover from his wounds and awkwardly offered to treat Huang Xiaoshu and Han Nuan to dinner.
• Huang Xiaoshu pulled a thin spike from her neck, then collapsed as black mist carried her away.

• Ye Lei told Song Yang to stay at the infirmary while he went out to search for treasures and Soul Beasts suitable for third Soul Rings.
• Ye Lei teleported to the Seventh Residence Hall and found it ravaged, with claw marks, dried blood, and broken bones throughout the building.
• Ye Lei sensed a thirty-thousand-year Soul Beast and several others nearby, then dodged the king’s black blade attacks.
• The Soul Beast Detector identified the attacker as a mutated Raging Savage Crocodile King with a Raging Domain.

Ye Lei fought a large group of Savage Crocodiles and their Raging Savage Crocodile King in the cavern. He was distracted by people arriving through the Teleportation Array and ended the chapter cursing at them.

• Ye Lei used Blue Silver Spike Array to kill dozens of Savage Crocodiles, while the others devoured their corpses.
• The Raging Savage Crocodile King unleashed a mutated Savage Crocodile Fang Crush, and Ye Lei dodged its phantom attack.

Ye Lei and his family joined forces to defeat a pack of Savage Crocodiles and kill their thirty-thousand-year-old king. Afterward, Ye Lei found two suitable soul beasts for Tang Yunqing and Han's Mother to absorb as their third soul rings.

• Ye Junqing arrived with Ye Lei's mother, aunt, and uncle, and Ye Lei explained that the Savage Crocodiles had killed the soldiers and made the area their nest.

Ye Lei discovered Song Yang’s Howling Sea Domain and helped Song Yang and Weng Yunling absorb their third Soul Rings while strengthening his own Soul Bones. After both reached their new ranks, Ye Lei received an unsettling call from his eldest uncle, Ye Tianyue.

• Ye Lei scanned Song Yang and learned that his Soul Power was Rank 32 and his Howling Sea Domain greatly boosted his abilities near abundant Water Element.
