When Mrs. Zeno and Yuri Kai saw each other, they both let out soft cries of surprise—

The already-tense officers around them shuddered and hurriedly prepared to rush over, afraid that if they were even a second late, the two women would start fighting. Fighting would be one thing, but what if there was a knife?

But the next moment—

"Wow—what are you doing here?"

"What a coincidence."

The two older women clasped each other's hands in all four of theirs, speaking in cutesy tones as though they were thrilled to run into close friends.

The officers who had been rushing over were all thrown off by the sudden turn of events. They hurriedly pretended to make phone calls or tie their shoelaces—

"Are you here for Director Fukuura's casting makeup party too? I absolutely love Director Fukuura's movies—"

"No, I just came to relax."

"Ah! Being single is so nice. You can stay at hotels in your own city whenever you want, unlike me, tied down by my husband and child—"

"Hahaha, Mr. Zeno is going to cry."

The two women appeared to be exchanging friendly pleasantries.

If Fuji had not seen Mr. Zeno and Yuri Kai exchanging looks, she really would have thought she had misunderstood!

Yamagishi, meanwhile, noticed that the tall guest in sunglasses was once again in the restaurant. He watched the scene before him, then got up and left when he saw Yamagishi looking at him.

"Sure enough, Yuri Kai came to the hotel for another reason!" Fuji declared with certainty.

"You still haven't given up?" Yamagishi was taken aback.

"Didn't you notice the looks between Zeno and Yuri Kai? It seems Zeno didn't know Yuri Kai would be here. She really might be here to force him into a divorce!"
