"You offered a decent price. I'll kill one pig for you now. Whether you survive after that is up to you."

Lin Zhen did not stand by completely. He leaped down from the wall, shaking the Black Dragon Spear in his hand.

"Gale!"

The Warrior only felt a fierce gale howling past him. Lin Zhen's figure flashed by, and the Black Dragon Spear in his hand pierced through the largest Mutated Pig's head!

Once severely injured, a Mutated Pig had less vitality than a chicken. Its head pierced through, it crashed to the ground, twitched a few times, and died.

Lin Zhen pulled out a small knife, swiftly cut off the Mutated Pig's ear, and turned to run.

"The pork is yours. No need to thank me."

Lin Zhen's plan was simple. He would kill only the largest one, leaving the Warrior to continue fighting desperately. The man would have no strength left to compete with him for the Meteorite. That was the most advantageous outcome for Lin Zhen.

The pigs had all gone berserk as they surrounded the Warrior. He had no chance to get away, allowing Lin Zhen to calmly kill the large pig and escape.

Lin Zhen quickly turned two corners and headed straight for the collapsed house.

Lin Zhen knew a great deal about Meteorites. During that Meteor Shower, countless Meteorites had struck Earth. Even after the military and the Base Cities collected as many as they could, most Meteorites still remained in the wilderness.

But not every Meteorite was useful. Ninety percent were worthless, and only around ten percent contained treasures.

Dark Energy Stones were among the most useful. In fact, Dark Energy Stones were the currency of the interstellar world.

The energy emitted by Dark Energy Stones could attract living creatures. These Mutated Pigs had likely occupied this place because they were drawn by a Dark Energy Stone. Therefore, Lin Zhen concluded that if there really was a Meteorite in this crater, the odds were highest that it contained a Dark Energy Stone.

Although the house had collapsed, it had become a pigsty. The Mutated Pigs had gone in and out repeatedly, opening up a passage through the house.

Lin Zhen entered without much effort. Reaching the center of the ruins, he found that there really was a large pit in the ground.

A large hole had been punched through the roof, two meters in diameter, and the pit on the ground was also roughly two meters across.

"Two meters in diameter. At a ratio of ten to one, this Meteorite should be around twenty centimeters across. I'll dig it out and take a look."

Lin Zhen's Black Dragon Spear immediately became a digging tool. He pried up large stones and tossed them aside. Martial Artists were incredibly strong, and he soon cleared away all the debris, exposing a black stone at the bottom of the pit.

Five minutes later, a black stone about the size of a pigeon's egg appeared in Lin Zhen's hand.

But that was as far as it went. As Lin Zhen landed in another corner of the room, entering the shooter's blind spot, the torrent of bullets finally stopped.

The room was filled with smoke and swirling dust. It was almost impossible to see anyone, and the choking dust made it difficult to keep one's eyes open. The gunman outside had lost his target as well.

On the rooftop opposite, a burly man stared at the abandoned house in disbelief. "How is this possible? I actually didn't hit him! My Six-Barrel Metal Storm can unleash one hundred and twenty rounds in two seconds, and I still didn't hit him!"

The burly man was tall and powerfully built, with golden bullet belts draped all over his body. In his hands was a massive six-barrel rotary machine gun. His phone on the ground was still lit, and he was in a video call.

On the screen, Ruo Ruo's face was icy. "Wang Yuan, what else can you do? You couldn't even kill a Level Eight Warrior. With that kind of skill, you dare call yourself the Violence Gun King?"

"Ruo Ruo, I... give me another chance. I'll definitely take care of this Lin Zhen."

"I wouldn't dare trust you again. I'll find someone else. But let me remind you of something: since you failed to kill Lin Zhen, you've exposed your position.
