He saw the elderly guard at the entrance trembling inside the Guard Room as he watched Lin Zhen. Though only his eyes were visible through the window, Lin Zhen had keenly caught sight of them.

Without a doubt, the old man had witnessed the entire incident. He was a living witness, and Lin Zhen did not want things to turn out this way.
After hesitating for a moment, Lin Zhen pushed open the door and entered the Guard Room.
The old man was sixty, even older than Lin Zhen's father. Seeing Lin Zhen enter, he became so nervous that he did not know what to do. Trembling, he was about to kneel before him.
Lin Zhen quickly supported him. "Sir, why are you so nervous?"
"Lord Martial Artist, I didn't mean to! I didn't see anything! Please spare my life!" the old man pleaded bitterly.
Lin Zhen thought for a moment. "Do you have anyone else in your family?"
