Sirius vs. Jack

Jack carried Sirius out of the building in a flash and arrived at an open space.

King, clad head to toe in black leather, was already waiting there. Yamato and Maria stood before him as well.

Noticing the two of them arriving, King suddenly turned his head. "Why are you so late?"

"Sorry, Brother King."

Jack said guiltily, "I was slacking off."

What a good brother.

He was a good brother. He did not say Sirius had held him back by being too slow.

Sirius jumped down from Jack's shoulder, then looked up at King. "It's not Jack's fault. I was too slow, Uncle King."

"It's Sirius's first day here. He doesn't know anything yet, so forgive him this once, Uncle King!" Yamato said loudly.

Black Maria chimed in, "That's right, that's right."

"Get over here. Remember to be on time tomorrow," King said calmly, without saying anything more.

Sirius walked over. Yamato winked at him, and Sirius silently mouthed, "Thank you," to her and Black Maria.

Maria nodded gently, while Yamato flashed a brilliant smile, revealing her little white teeth.

Only then did Sirius notice that she was missing one of her front teeth. It seemed she was at the age of losing baby teeth.

Sirius stood beside Yamato, while the two tall figures, Jack and Black Maria, stood behind them.

King glanced at the four brats standing before him. All four were highly talented.

Especially Yamato and Sirius, who stood at the front.

One was Boss Kaido's daughter, inheriting his strongest bloodline.

The other was a Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit User, possessing an ability on the same level as Boss Kaido's.

Once these two brats matured, they definitely would not be inferior to him or Queen.

But that would require careful cultivation.

Sirius frowned under King's gaze.

This guy's stare was like an X-ray, making him feel as though he had been seen through completely.

"Sirius."

King looked at Sirius. "Mr. Kaido has high hopes for you, so you absolutely cannot disappoint him. Even if you die, you must fulfill his expectations!"

Wow, opening with the old PUA routine right away.

Sirius said with a grin, "Understood!"

Adding both lives together, he could barely count as an adult. Adults had to learn how to consider other people's feelings!

King nodded. "I hope you do not merely understand with words. Show me through your actions."

"First, let me see what you are capable of."

Sirius looked confused. "What I'm capable of? Capable of what?"

Before Sirius could figure out what was going on, King had already raised his head and said to Jack, "Jack, you will be Sirius's opponent. This is also a good chance for me to see what progress you have made lately."

"Alright!"

Jack answered loudly and even began cracking his knuckles. "Just what I wanted!"

Only then did Sirius understand what King meant. So this meant fighting?

Yamato bumped Sirius's shoulder with her elbow. When he turned toward her, she whispered, "Jack is a Devil Fruit User. He's a big dumb Mammoth!"

"But Sirius, you'll definitely be fine, right? You can definitely beat him!"

You sure have a lot of confidence in me.

Sirius was somewhat helpless. "Do I really have to fight? I've never fought anyone before."

"Me too! Teach that idiot Jack a good lesson!" Maria encouraged him as well.

Jack looked coldly at these two heartless women. Clearly, he had known them longer!

The two quickly moved aside, leaving only Sirius and Jack facing each other.

"Sirius! I won't go easy on you!"

Jack loudly declared his stance. "Let me see what kind of strength you possess to earn Boss Kaido's recognition!"

Then his body began to swell. Thick brown fur grew from his skin, his nose stretched out, and tusks emerged.

Within a few breaths, he had transformed into a massive Mammoth.

Jack was already enormous, and after using his ability, he became even more exaggerated. Standing before Sirius, he was like a small mountain, the difference in their sizes striking.

"Though I want to support Sirius, can he really beat Jack?" Black Maria asked worriedly. "Jack may be an idiot, but he's a very powerful idiot!"

Yamato said seriously, "Sirius will definitely win!"

"Huh? Why?"

"Because he beat me last night."

"Did he beat you in eating?"

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Jack had already started charging toward Sirius.

His heavy footsteps were like an earthquake. He truly lived up to the man who would one day be called the Drought. Even at such a young age, his momentum was no weaker.

Sirius felt as though a train were barreling straight toward him.

He was on a completely different level from the wild beasts Sirius had encountered on Desert Island!

Since fighting was unavoidable, he could only grit his teeth and go for it!

Sirius leaped into the air, his body stretching out in an instant.

By the time he landed, he had become a Giant Wolf with glossy black fur!

"Wow! He transformed!"

Yamato's eyes instantly filled with little stars. "Sirius turned into a super cool big dog!"

"That's a wolf, right?"

Maria questioned it. "But Sirius is a Devil Fruit User too. He became so big!"

Before using his ability, the difference in size between Sirius and Jack had been absurd.

But now, Sirius was not much smaller than Jack.

A Giant Wolf over four meters long could not be considered small no matter what.

"Watch out, Jack!"

Sirius grinned, and sparks suddenly burst from his throat.

The next instant, Sirius opened his jaws, and blazing flames surged out, forming a massive Fire Pillar that blasted toward Jack!

"What?"

The dazzling flames rushed toward him, and Jack froze in place, unable to advance.

As the saying went, fur feared fire. As a Mammoth, he was naturally afraid of flames.

"H-He breathed fire!!"

Black Maria was shocked. "Sirius is a Mythical Zoan?"

"Just like Father!" Yamato cheered. "That's amazing, Sirius!"

The blazing flames condensed into a Fire Pillar that grazed past Jack, then slammed directly into the inner wall of Skull Head ahead.

BOOM!

An explosion erupted. Roiling flames scattered everywhere, shattered rocks flew through the air, and a hole was blasted directly into Skull Head's thick wall.

"What astonishing power!"

Black Maria exclaimed, "If that idiot Jack had been hit, he would have turned into a roasted elephant, right?"

King nodded slightly as well.

The gap between a Mythical Zoan and an Ancient Zoan was enormous. Though Jack was two years older than Sirius, there was already quite a difference in their strength.

As the flames dissipated, Sirius spat out a spark and smiled. "Well, Jack? Still want to keep fighting?"

"Of course!!"

Without the slightest hesitation, Jack roared and charged at Sirius. His two sharp tusks gleamed coldly like a knight's lances as they thrust toward Sirius.

He was usually quite easygoing, but once he started fighting, he became incredibly stubborn.

Still, if his opponent was an elephant, Sirius had plenty of experience dealing with one.

Sirius pushed off with all four limbs and pounced toward Jack as well.

Sirius was very fast. Wolves were naturally more agile than elephants, let alone Sirius, who was a legendary Magic Wolf!

Jack's thick trunk rose high into the air, ready to smash down onto Sirius's head like an iron whip the next second.

But just as the two were about to collide, Sirius leaped to the right, easily evading Jack's attack as he brushed past him.

The moment Sirius landed, he suddenly leaped left and pounced directly onto Jack.

In terms of size, Sirius was still somewhat smaller than Jack, yet Jack's massive body crashed down under Sirius's pounce, knocked straight to the ground.

What incredible strength!!

As he fell, Jack was stunned.

He had been pinned down with almost no ability to resist.

Jack instinctively tried to struggle, but Sirius's paw pressing against his neck was like a mountain, holding him down so firmly that he could not move at all.

"I won, right?"
