Nine Major Acupoints

The temples were an extremely special acupoint around the human eye. If anything went wrong during the activation process, if the method was used incorrectly, it would not be strange for someone to die outright.

Fortunately, I got through the difficult stage of activating my temples without any real danger. After the temples, the next acupoint to activate was Tongziliao. Tongziliao was located on the face, in the depression half an inch outside the inner and outer corners of the eyes.

The "tongzi" in Tongziliao referred to the black part of the eyeball. To activate Tongziliao, one had to circulate chakra to stimulate the black part of the eye. Only then could this acupoint be successfully activated.

Without further ado, Xuan Ye began activating the next acupoint. It was called Sizukong, and it was also located on the face, in the depression at the end of the eyebrow.

Activating this acupoint was not very difficult either, though the process was about as complicated as the previous five.

Another half hour passed, and I activated Sizukong. After activating Sizukong, only the final three acupoints remained: Chengqixue, Qiuhou, and Yangbai.

Now it was time to activate Chengqixue. This acupoint was located directly below the pupil when looking straight ahead, between the eyeball and the lower edge of the eye socket.

Activating Chengqixue also required countless complicated steps. I carefully followed the method in my mind, step by step, but suddenly realized that activating this acupoint seemed slightly more difficult than activating the previous ones.

But only slightly. It was not enough to stump me. Less than half an hour later, I activated Chengqixue. By then, I was beginning to feel a little tired. After all, I had been sitting still for a very long time.

But for the sake of the Divine Eye ninjutsu, I still had to persevere. The system had praised this ninjutsu to the heavens, and I would be truly unwilling if I did not get to see it for myself.

After learning this acupoint's location, I began activating it. Suddenly, I found that its steps were somewhat more numerous than those of the previous seven, and its difficulty had increased as well.

But after activating the previous seven acupoints, giving up now was impossible. It was only a little harder, not vastly harder. As long as I gritted my teeth, I could succeed.

More than half an hour later, I successfully activated it. Once Qiuhou was activated, I let out a breath of relief, because only the final acupoint remained. Its name was Yangbai.

Yangbai was located on the forehead, directly above the pupil and one inch above the eyebrow. But just as I was about to activate it, my expression suddenly turned ugly—for one reason alone.

The method and steps for activating Yangbai in my mind were more than twice as difficult as the methods and steps for activating the other eight acupoints. If I had to calculate it, they were probably more than double the combined methods and steps needed to activate the previous eight acupoints.

The difficulty had also increased greatly, nearly more than twice that of activating the previous eight acupoints. Faced with such an enormous challenge, I truly had trouble adapting.
