Training in the Basic Three Body Jutsu

The two Anbu ninjas looked at each other, panic evident in both their eyes. "This is bad. We have no idea where Young Master Genya ran off to. What should we do now?"

Anbu B looked at Anbu A and gritted his teeth. "With the strength Young Master Genya just displayed, he shouldn't run into any danger. Even if he does encounter something dangerous, he won't be completely unable to handle it with his strength."

"What happened?" Minato Namikaze asked the two Konoha Anbu from his chair.

"Lord Fourth Hokage, we lost track of Young Master Genya." The two Anbu found this difficult to say. Genya was only a child, yet two Konoha Anbu had failed to keep up with even a child. Probably not many people would believe it if they said it aloud.

After hearing what the two Anbu had said, the Fourth Hokage told them, "I understand. You may leave."

When the two Anbu heard the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, tell them to leave, they turned and departed without looking back. Konoha's Anbu were quite busy, after all, and many of Konoha's affairs required their attention.

Xiao Ye, you deliberately made those two Konoha Anbu lose track of you, didn't you? I never expected you to already be capable of this. Since you managed to shake off the two people I sent to protect you, you should be able to keep yourself safe. I won't send anyone after you again. Minato Namikaze lowered his head and considered many things before making this decision.

On one of Konoha's streets, Genya pushed his way out of the crowd. He looked around and figured out where he was. He was still on Konoha's central streets. It seemed it would take a while longer to reach the outskirts of Konoha, Genya thought.

He immediately lifted his legs and began to run. He could not run very fast, but it was still much quicker than walking. As he ran, he raised his head and looked up. It was nearly noon, and the scorching sun hung directly overhead, making his skin feel hot from the sunlight.

After some time, Genya raised his head again and looked around. Towering trees surrounded him everywhere. Judging by their size, even five people joining hands would probably be unable to wrap their arms around a single tree.

This could more or less be considered Konoha's outskirts. There was no one here. Other than the towering trees stretching as far as the eye could see, he also discovered a small stream. The water was crystal clear, with many fish and shrimp swimming through it. Even the naked eye could see straight to the bottom.

Forget it. I don't have much chakra right now anyway. I'll learn other ninjutsu after I have more chakra in the future. With that in mind, Genya began training the Basic Three Body Jutsu.

Why did the Basic Three Body Jutsu proficiency increase by one point instead of the Clone Technique proficiency? Could it be that the Clone Technique, Substitution Technique, and Transformation Technique all share the same proficiency?
