After Tang Hao took Tang San away and began plotting to kill Lin Manshan and Dugu Bo, Lin Manshan learned that an ambush was being prepared for their return from Sunset Forest.

• Yu Xiaogang discovered the lasting damage to his body, and Spirit City’s rumors about his past conduct brought public scorn upon him and the Shrek group.
• Lin Manshan refined a pill for Bibi Dong, examined the Golden Bead formed from her Martial Soul Origin, and told her he hoped Spirit Hall would unify the continent peacefully.
• Tian Xing Academy advanced through the tournament as Zhu Zhuyun defeated Star Luo Royal Academy, while Shrek Academy used Tang San’s poison and External Soul Bone against Godwind Academy.
• Bibi Dong punished Yu Xiaogang publicly, and Lin Manshan’s team defeated Tang San’s Seven-in-One Fusion Skill before winning the final against Spirit Hall Academy.
• Tang Hao took Tang San and Xiao Wu away, then revealed Xiao Wu’s identity and left Tang San to train at the waterfall.

Lin Manshan exposed Tang Hao’s ambush, brought the Strength and Speed Clans into Tian Xing Academy, and later killed Tang Hao before claiming his Soul Bones. Tang San escaped the City of Slaughter and joined the Clear Sky Sect, while Lin Manshan developed his Elemental Soul Core and continued strengthening his allies.

• Lin Manshan and Dugu Bo defeated Tang Hao’s ambush, but Tang Hao killed Bai He, Tai Tan, and the surviving clan disciples as Lin Manshan recorded the slaughter.
• Dugu Bo showed the recording to the clans and declared war on Tang Hao, Tang San, and the Clear Sky Sect, while the Strength and Speed Clans joined Tian Xing Academy.
• Tang San awakened his Blue Silver Emperor Martial Soul, entered the City of Slaughter, and emerged with Divine Slaughter’s Domain after completing Hell Road.
• Lin Manshan killed the Dark Demon Evil God Tiger, resisted the evil remnant in its pearl, and formed the Elemental Soul Core from its stored attributes and Life Energy.

Lin Manshan and Dugu Bo grew stronger through God Trials, spirit-beast hunts, and a confrontation with Tang San, while gathering evidence against him and preparing to attack the Clear Sky Sect. The arc ended with Lin Manshan beginning to form a Spiritual Soul Core as an unknown green-armored man sensed him.

• Lin Manshan helped Dugu Bo prepare for his God Trial, then led their allies on hunts that gave Lin Manshan, Niu Gao, and Zhu Zhuqing powerful new abilities.
• Dugu Bo defeated increasingly powerful trial opponents, reached Rank 99, and transformed his Martial Soul into the Evil Dragon.
• Lin Manshan followed Tang San to the Star Dou Great Forest, fought him after he reunited with Xiao Wu, and watched Tang San escape with a god’s aid.
• Lin Manshan brought Xiao Wu back to the academy and relocated the Blue Silver Emperor and Blue Silver King, showing them memories that convinced them Tang San had become a cruel stranger.
• Dugu Bo revealed Tang Hao’s death and Tang San’s crimes to Ghost Douluo, then secured Spirit Hall’s cooperation for an attack on the Clear Sky Sect.
• Lin Manshan, Dugu Bo, and Dugu Yan killed the Titan Giant Python, and Dugu Yan gained its Soul Ring and Torso Bone.

Dugu Bo and Tian Xing Academy destroyed the Clear Sky Sect, while Lin Manshan helped his allies grow stronger and prepared to enter the Netherworld. There, he learned of Bibi Dong’s Rakshasa trial and joined her in an illusion where they began life as poor children.

• Ghost Douluo delivered medicinal materials to Dugu Bo and Lin Manshan, who refined Pills, while Zhu Zhuqing absorbed a Soul Bone and Bibi Dong led Spirit Hall toward the Clear Sky Sect.
• Dugu Bo exposed Tang San’s deeds, declared war on the Clear Sky Sect, and revealed his Rank 99 strength as Spirit Hall and other factions watched.
• Dugu Bo, Lin Manshan, Yang Wudi, and Niu Gao defeated Tang Xiao and the Clear Sky elders, after which Dugu Bo crippled the surviving sect members and handed the captives to Spirit Hall.
